This print was from my freshman year
printmaking class. The assignment was to create an image telling how we felt about 9/11. The image you see is an angle wearing an
ammo belt and below her is the city of New York
during the
attack.
The image represents how Americans cope with 9/11, some cope with
their faith and others with violence. I felt it appropriate to call it "Faith vs. Violence" I
originally drew the angle with her bare
bottom showing, but my teacher made me cover it up sue to
public school policy.
